VLE (Virtual Learning environment) as an
informative tool
Important Announcement Lecture Note
One of the
major strengths of using a VLE is its ease of accessibility. All the necessary
learning materials, such as lecture note, reading resources and assignments are
uploaded to the platform, making them available anytime and from anywhere. This
feature has been particularly needs of them. For instance, when preparing for
exams or completing homework, I can simply log into the VLE and access the required
materials without having to depend on physical handouts or classroom
availability. Moreover, the platform is regularly updated with important
announcement related to college events, academic schedules and programs
details, keeping me well-formed and organized.
Despite its
many benefits, my experience with the VLE has not been without difficulties.
One of the recurring issues I encountered was related to internet connectivity,
Although the colleges WI-FI is generally functional, there times when it becomes
very slow or stop working altogether, especially when many students are using
it simultaneously. These technical challenges made it difficult to download
large files, video lessons and submit assignment on time. Additionally, when I
had to rely on mobile data from home, I sometimes struggled with limited data
availability, which further delayed my academic work and affected my overall
productivity.
Nevertheless,
using a VLE has significantly contributed to my learning and helped me adjust
to new ways of studying. It has encouraged me to become more independent, mange
my time effectively, and develop digital skills that are crucial in the 21st
century classroom. This experience has given me valuable insights into how
technology can be both a tool for empowerment and a source of difficulty,
depending on how it is implemented and accessed.
As I
Continue to grow as a future teacher, I am determined to apply the lessons I
have learned from my own experience with the VLE. I aim to use technology in a
way that supports the learning of all students, ensuring that it is inclusive
accessible and equitable.
